Nation of Excuses

The United States is a country of opportunity no matter what your view is you have to admit that you have a lot going for you. I know that I sure do. I work TWO jobs each part time. I am a FULL time college student, I am the captain of a Relay for Life team and not to mention I have family, friends and the love of my life to attend to. So yeah, you are not the only one with a full plate. This fine nation of ours is convincing itself that we are all too busy to keep ourselves healthy. Which I will admit I sometimes come to believe myself, but this blog is going to help me change all of that. I am currently at the heaviest weight that I have been in my entire life and I find myself being completely uncomfortable with who I am in my physical appearance a lot. I don't simply want to lose weight I want to make myself healthier so that I can set an example for the people around me. So this is where I will post my successes and failures because we all need a place to do that on a journey like this.
